Deeper Life Ministries
My name is Jonita Johnston and my greatest desire in life is an intimate relationship with the Lord. In 1996 after completing my education as Professional Waitress in Norway, I packed up my belongings and immigrated to Canada as a northern Canadian missionary. In 2000 I graduated from Word of Life Bible Institute with a Diploma in Christian Leadership.
In 2004 I became an entrepreneur and opened my own coffee shop in Thompson, MB. The following eight years would prove to be the most challenging and character forming years of my life. Besides running and operating a business, I was a wife, and a mother of two young children. During these years God formed in me a deep desire to “know Christ and the power of His resurrection” (Phil 3.10).
The cry of my heart is that people will have an encounter with the Lord and that Jesus will be the center of their lives. Also, the body of Christ will work and function as the LIVING, PULSATING Organism that God intended us to be. Join the race! Let us run together! (Hebrews 12.1-3)
